Mac is playing Tag!

It has been a couple of days now, but Kelli and I realized that Mac is playing Tag once in a while. You'll be in a room, he'll come in and point / touch you while saying "Tag, u-r it!" and then runs out of the room. We've been having a number of games over the last week or so - he has a blast.

His sleeping patterns have been better and we're back on track. I can put him in his room, settle him down with a book or two and then manage to leave while he is wide awake. He usually goes to sleep in a little while after I leave. He's also sleeping through the night. Only one more little thing we need to get back into play is the wake up times.

Early? When is too early? He's convinced that we should be up sometime around 5 ish. We're slowly convincing him that he's ok to stay in his room while we sleep some more. Our goal is to have him wake up / want to get out of his room sometime around 6 ish. 5 or 4 is just too early for us. Work is still in progress, so more info later.

Last note - Mac now whispers good-night to me as I put him down and leave the room. Very nice touch! I love it!

Happy New Year!

So this is a little late to add, but Happy New Year. Things are going great with Mac, Kelli and the Twins. We had a fantastic time on our last visit Down Home over Christmas vacation. We say Grandma and Grandpa Claus, Nana Pat and Grampy Vern and had lots of fun.

This year, Mac discovered he loved presents and loves the Christmas holidays. He was able to take it all in and share his excitement with all of us. It was precious.

On the down side, we had to alter his schedule to accommodate everything and it has taken a while to get back to normal. On top of that, I was sick and Mac was sick for the first part of the trip - coughing and sneezing - oh well, got it over with early this year.

Kelli is 28 weeks now with the twins - they are 2 3/4 lbs each. She goes to the specialist tomorrow and has some more blood work done. We're debating about doing the Stem Cell storage again, but the cost is pretty high for a two banger. We have to continue to discuss it some more.

We've cleaned up and re-organized the laundry/computer room. It looks fantastic! everything has a place and tons of stuff is now no longer an issue. I almost enjoy spending time here.

I just got Mac down a little while ago. I should get started on the "after Mac" chores before settling down for the evening.

One last note. I plan on starting to use the email posting option for Blog as well as upgrading to version 8 Beta 3. I find there are so many things that I would like to "quick add" but never get around to it. Lets see how this upgrade goes!
